About Pathways Health & Research Centre
Professional experience
At Pathways we provide individual and group based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to assist children/adolescents and their families in developing coping skills and resilience to improve their quality of life.  Our group-based CBT programs are very effective in providing children with a foundation of skills that assist them in developing more helpful thought and behaviour patterns. A great benefit of group programs is that it gives children an opportunity to “practice” the skills they learn with children of a similar age under the support of a qualified facilitator and clinician. Individual sessions are provided by our psychologist who has worked with children/adolescents of all ages across a great variety of settings. She knows that when it comes to working with young people it is important to take the time to connect with them and help them to feel comfortable to work through their difficulties.   She works together with children/adolescents and their families to help them manage life’s difficult stages and events by increasing their coping skills and resilience and giving them a safe space to work through their struggles.
