About Colleen McFarlane
Professional experience
I offer counselling and psychotherapy for depression, anxiety, grief, trauma and relationship difficulties amongst other concerns. I provide caring, confidential, professional counselling and psychotherapy. I aim to work in a collaborative way, taking your preferences into account when discussing what may be involved. And I aim to offer a place where you can comfortably express yourself and your needs, where you will be assisted with an informed, non-judgemental and listening ear. I specialise in seeing people affected by trauma. The kinds of trauma I see people for include, accidents, unexpected bereavements, assault, abuse, war-related conflict, disaster, torture, terrorism, and political persecution. I see people from many walks of life. I also have a particular interest in assisting aid workers, travellers, expatriates, emergency services personnel, and refugees. My rates are affordable and Medicare rebates are available for eligible persons.
