Professional experience
I teach beginner piano and also Voice. (I hold a BA Music in Voice, CIV Music - Voice/Choral Conducting). I also do Music Therapy (Dip.MT). Experienced with Autism, ABI, Aged Care & Disability. I offer a Music Transcription Service. If you can't find the sheet music in store or online that you want, I can do it for you if you provide me with the audio. I am a very patient person, and can work creatively to assist you to achieve.

I have mostly worked with students with disabilities, which makes my work both challenging and rewarding. I have worked with; the elderly, Acquired Brain Injury, Parkinson's, Autism, ADD, (Attention Deficit Disorder), ODD (Oppositional Defiance Disorder), Downs Syndrome and Rhett's Syndrome clients.
I have taught a teenager with ASD how to play piano, using Music Therapy techniques, who is now having lessons in a "mainstream" school.
Work out what you want to achieve or what you want for you child to achieve before coming to the first lesson. It assists in forward planning.
Are your goals realistic? How much time will I need to practice? Can I afford the time to practice?
