About Shanthi Bhavana Meditation & Yoga
Professional experience
Internationally trained and certified Yoga and Meditation Teacher specialising in Therapeutic Healing Yoga mostly for people in the *information hidden*age group. Personalised, individual Therapeutic Yoga for people wanting more than just a simple aerobics class workout. This is a work-in, providing exploratory asana practice (Yoga postures and movement) for therapeutic applications and problem solving. It combines rhythmic movement and correct Yoga breathing, as well as Mindfulness Meditation techniques and is designed and delivered in a way that caters for every individual person, according to their specific needs. It is ideal for busy working people, or those suffering injury or medical conditions, or disability. Many of our clients are referred by doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists and psychologists. We work with our clients to help them achieve their health and wellness goals. We combine traditional Indian healing Yoga art and science with Massage Therapy, Reflexology and Chinese Healing arts. We can provide small group classes, private or public, and private one-on-one therapy Yoga sessions in two studio locations, Rockingham and Perth, or at your home. Sri Shanthi Bhavana is a graduate of, and currently registered Yoga Teacher with AURA Wellness Centre, Massachusetts, USA, and is a registered therapist (Yoga, Meditation & Massage) with IICT (International Institute for Complementary Therapists)
