About Damien Smith Photography
Professional experience
Damien Smith A Western Australian based photographer born in Melbourne, Victoria. Having studied a Diploma of photography at Mt. Lawley Central Institute of Technology, he went onto be mentored by Russian master photographer Alexander Risco. Damien took over the running of Alexander Gallery studios for seven years before establishing his own studio in Perth's CBD. Grounded in a film background, Damien is a well established and highly qualified professional photographer with over twenty years experience. "My imagery has been influenced by my worldwide travels from both a young age and later in life. These life experiences have had a profound and lasting impact on my 'way of seeing'. Luckily, I'm a photographer as I am one highly focused individual who brings fresh creative energy to all my assignments.
