Clients typically book me for a newborn session when they first find out they are pregnant, as bookings are limited. I pencil in their estimated due date and we meet for a complimentary pre-session consultation to discuss styling and products a couple of months out from the due date. My clients let me know as soon as they give birth we can book the newborn session. The session can take place in my home studio or in the comfort of their own home, depending on the needs of the individual client. The gallery reveal session is then booked in approximately 4 weeks after the session where 20 images are presented.

Felicity trained under world renowned, multi-award winning newborn photographer, Kelly Brown. Felicity has a Certificate in Newborn Photography with the Academy of Newborn Photography and has had extensive training in newborn safety and infant CPR and first aid. Felicity also holds a current Blue Card.

I first got started in newborn photography when I had my own children and realised how quickly the beautiful newborn stage passes. I wanted it to last forever. Capturing it through amazing imagery was the next best thing.

I work with all types of clients, first time parents, parents of multiples, those that have experienced losses and those that have been struggling with infertility. Everyone is welcome.

I enjoy every second of every newborn session. Every baby is a gift and I love spending time with these gorgeous little miracles.

Before you hire a newborn photographer, please check to make sure they are up to date with their vaccinations. Please also check that they use composite imagery to do poses like the "froggy pose" or the "potato sack pose" because babies should never be left to support their own weight in these positions. Ask to see their portfolio to check if they have experience and to make sure you like their style of imagery. Ask also about any training they have undertaken in newborn photography and newborn and infant safety.
