Hi Anne Thanks for contacting. I am primarily a musician entertainer (singer, guitarist, ukelele) with decades of experience in function work. It’s what I do very well. Immigrated here from S Africa *information hidden*I had my own bands up to 9-piece, and I played solo. Currently mostly solo, but with a huge repertoire of party and listening music, many with excellent backing tracks, I sound like a full band (sometimes better!). I included myself under the listing of “party organisers”, because I am specifically very good at planning or advising on crucial aspects regarding the actual running of functions where I am performing, e.g: Layout of the room including position of bandstand. Timing, i.e. a detailed order of all events, co-ordinating with the caterer, photographer These two aspects alone, can make or break a function. I very quickly made myself part of this process, because playing at a mediocre party or function, does not recommend me to new clients. So when I am booked to perform, my clients get the benefit of my organising experience, too.
