I am a trained singer (guitarist and keyboardist) with over 10 years of professional experience in the music industry. As a vocal teacher I focus on helping my students to find and develop their own unique voice, break bad habits and encourage their existing love of music and singing. I believe we learn best when doing, so my lessons are comprised mostly of singing and not lesson-padding exercises. Any exercises I recommend will truly be for the benefit of you and your voice. During the lesson I provide either a recording for you to sing along to, a karaoke track (subject to availability) or live guitar accompaniment. I am able to adjust the keys of songs to better suit your voice. If you play an instrument and prefer to accompany yourself you are more than welcome to do so. $50 per hour lesson $30 per half hour lesson Cash only unless otherwise discussed. Give me a call, I'm more than happy to answer any questions you may have before booking a lesson.

Biography The Sound Weaver (Jacinta Percy) is a songstress, explorer, hunter, nurturer, lover, and a seeker of truth. She is a woman who is devoted to exploring the mystery of sound, resonance, breath, stillness and song. Jacinta’s love affair with the voice, sound and music began as a wee babe, with Richard Clayderman being the only medicine that would lull her to sleep. It was an inevitable journey with a piano-playing songstress for a grandmother and a great-great-aunt, dubbed “Queen of the Irish Song”, in her family lineage. This calling and her deep love and passion for voice, sound and music have led her over the past fifteen years to perform and work with profound teachers in Australia, Europe, Israel and India. She is crisscrossing genres from Classical to Jazz, Folk to Improvisation, Dhrupad to Carnatic. At the young age of twenty-four, Jacinta was invited to teach and guide others. She continues to follow this path. She is teaching privately at her music studio based in Northcote and facilitating group workshops in Melbourne, Australia. For all wanting to remember their true voice, sound and nature. Her knowledge of her voice, her open heart and listening ear, allows her to assist with a gentle grace that enables others to uncover what they are seeking. Her belief that we all need to sing, sing with courage, sing with joy, sing to mama earth. To discover our greatness and shine forth our potential into the world. This belief is what inspires her to share her love and passion to all her students. Singing & Vocal Lesson Everyone can sing! Our voices are the most extraordinary musical instruments.
