Thanks to Carmel following me up with a phone call I would’ve totally forgotten about the singing lesson requests as I get so busy and forget easily! So I am glad that she took that further initiative to call me . I am very happy with Carmel’s lessons with my daughter. Also not only have I committed my daughter to singing lessons every week with her, but also have asked Carmel to teach her Piano as well. Carmel is an excellent teacher, she is friendly and happy and makes people feel at ease and has very good teaching methods. My daughter was a bit apprehensive and nervous to begin (being a new singing teacher as she has had singing lessons with another teacher in the past), but Carmel made her feel very at ease and comfortable. My name is Anthony and I'm a 29 year old arts graduate, about to commence my final year of law at the University of Western Sydney. I have been employed as a Court Clerk with the NSW Department of Justice for Almost 4 years now. Dennis Sykes and the Actors Co. and Acting Studio has been my performance coach and also law Tutor since I commenced my law degree, and during this time I have seen my marks increase from a 4.03 to a 4.87 GPA, with my final year of law gearing up to be eligible for entry into an honours thesis. The confidence I have gained and knowledge I have assimilated and sustained over the years of working with Dennis has seen me grow within the NSW Department of Justice, but also being offered seasonal employment as a Manager with the NSW Electoral Commission, and appointment as panel member for the University of Western Sydney's Scholarship Selection Panel, representing both current students and Alumni. In short my success has been largely due in part to Dennis' success in which he paved and strategic guidance implemented.
